BELMONT Golf Club has recently welcomed some fantastic renovations as well as an exciting new duo.
Chocolate is made up of Asha and Mark, a team who are one of the most versatile acts in the Hunter.
'We perform all types of music,' Mark said.
'We go from one end of the spectrum to the other.'
The duo began a weekly residency at the club last Sunday and they hope to attract a strong following at the newly renovated venue.
'We enjoy being together, we have fun on stage and we like the audience to respond to us,' Asha said.
'We want to find the right audience and please them.'
Chocolate has been performing in venues around the Hunter for the past six months.
Asha has worked as a jazz vocalist at the Kent Hotel and as a native from Poland she has performed extensively throughout Europe.
Mark is a professional musician and also makes up one half of popular local duo Bop and Co. Mark has had plenty of experience as a musician, supporting big-name acts such as Hot Chocolate. Unlike other bands, Chocolate say they cannot be placed under one category.
'We play all your favourites, pleasing everyone,' they say.
Whether it be big band, pop, top 40, funk or soul, Chocolate are the perfect duo with the perfect sound.
Chocolate will perform from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Sunday
