IT has been nearly two years since The Elton Jack Show has taken its big show feel to local club audiences.
The Elton Jack show is finally back and will dust off those crocodile shoes and rock down the yellow brick road to perform at ClubNova Newcastle on November 17.
Lance Strauss stars as Elton John, and while he hasn't been performing this role he has been starring in musicals.
He has had parts in Jolson and Buddy The Musical where he had the chance to put his acting and piano skills to use.
While the Elton Jack Show has not been seen in Australia recently, it has maintained its international profile with performances in New Zealand, France, Singapore, Germany and Malaysia.
The line-up remains almost the same with Jeremy Cook as Ray Toupee on drums and percussion, Greg Parke on keys, sax and vocals, Mark Jones on bass and vocals and Rohan Cannon on guitar.
The new series of shows will see Natacha Curnow join the group on tour for the first time.
