IF you haven't already heard of the Pornskars by now, you are bound to hear of them soon.
The five-piece group describe themselves as an original, spunky, good time dance band and have become regulars at The Lass O'Gowrie, Wickham Park Hotel and The Northern Star. The Pornskars formed at the beginning of the year and already have plenty of original material courtesy of guitarist, local DJ and ex-Porker Pucko. Porkers lead singer Pete Cooper is a frequent guest at a Pornskars show and has suggested that if the band ever does perform a cover it should be James Brown's Sex Machine. But the group say they are happy to perform their own material which includes Victim Of My Own Penis, In Out, March Of The Pornskars and Waiting For The Cheque. Members of the band also play in a number of other local groups like Bitchcraft, Favours For Each Other and Fish Fry.
