FROM Florence, Italy to Newcastle's pubs and clubs, Daniel Arvidson feels at home as longs as he is performing.
Playing at the Grand Hotel on Saturday and Shoal Bay Country Club on June 1, Arvidson plays a variety of settings.
Arvidson said he recently spent six months in Florence, playing his versatile range of acoustic guitar arrangements to appreciative crowds.
He said he was playing to packed houses six nights a week.
'It was a wonderful experience, but there's no place like home,' he said.
Arvidson is working hard in the studio recording his latest collection of original compositions.
The album is scheduled for release later in the year.
This will be his second recording after his debut self-titled release.
On stage he covers all the classic tunes from the 50s through to the 90s, from dinner and easy listening music to old-fashioned rock and roll.
His repertoire includes songs by John Denver, U2, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan, but the list is endless and always changing.
