THE title of comedian Elliot Goblet's debut CD would probably best sum up the humour of this incredibly deadpan man.
Internally Berserk is the name of the comedian's album, which is full of his clever, but unconnected, one-liners.
His unique sense of humour has tickled the funny bone of audiences all over Australia and overseas in America, Canada, New Zealand and the UK and his shows have been described as anything from 'slapstick in reverse' and 'realism coated with the ridiculous'.
Not only is he a regular at comedy clubs, he is also in high demand to entertain the masses at corporate parties and has performed at more than 750 functions.
But it is through television that he has achieved his large following of fans, who love to see the world through Goblet's coloured glasses.
Throughout his career as a comedian, he has made over 50 appearances on programs including Hey Hey It's Saturday, The Midday Show and The Footy Show. Goblet will bring his style of offbeat humour to Belmont 16 Footers on Friday night with the help of new comic, Subby Valentine. Valentine first appeared on the comedy circuit in 1996 when he won The Comedy Channel's Comic Hunt competition.
