Lucksmiths Dropping in for Newcastle Gigs

MELBOURNE-based pop group, The Lucksmiths, will play two Newcastle shows today as part of their five-week Australian tour.

They will play a lunchtime show at Newcastle University before moving onto The Northern Star Hotel. The Salteens and Sodastream will support them here.

The Lucksmiths have been together for eight years and toured North America, the United Kingdom and Japan.

On March 1, they released their fourth full-length album, Why That Doesn't Surprise Me. This is their first full-length studio recording since the well-received, A Good Kind Of Nervous in 1997.
