Funky New Location

THE Funky Do Da's have landed a residency at the Clarendon Hotel on Thursday nights from 6pm to 9pm.

They hope to attract an after-work crowd who want to unwind with a drink or a meal.

'We're trying to create an atmosphere of fine food, good conversation and live music to complete the vibe,' drummer Terry Morton said.

'We'll be performing a mix of easy listening contemporary music, some jazzy and funky instrumental pieces, as well as some vocal material transpiring the past six decades.'

The Funky Do Da's are Paul Isaacs (saxophones and flute), Colin Stein (keyboards, organ, piano), Peter Gray (double and electric bass) and Terry Morton (drums).
