LOCAL DJ Adam Spencer is celebrating after his self-composed track titled Feel My Body went to number two on the mp3.com.au House charts this month.
Otherwise known as DJ Mad, Adam has been composing original dance music since 1996 when he created the track Be My Guest. Adam has been working as a DJ in Newcastle for the past eight years at a number of radio stations and nightclubs.
He recently took up a residency at the Jolly Roger Hotel on Wednesday and Saturday nights.
Adam said that Feel My Body has been well received by the club's patrons.
The euro dance style track has also been played at Surf City, The Castle and SJ's Hotel. Adam was recently approached by Wild FM's Jimmy Z who asked Adam for a demo CD of the song.
DJs in Colorado and New York recently contacted Adam for permission to play it.
Adam has also done a remix of The Good's track True What They Say.
