Intimate Artist Full of Hart and Soul

Before departing for a tour of Europe and the UK Mick Hart will pay Newcastle a visit and perform at the Northern Star Hotel on Friday night.

Fresh from a trip to Tasmania, Hart will continue touring Australia before jetting off overseas.

Hart's group will officially release its debut album Still The Flowers Bloom during the tour, which will kick off at the end of July.

The group's last visit to Europe came in June 2000 when it performed in Switzerland, France, Ireland and England and supported Coldplay and Australia's own Paul Kelly. During the current Australian tour, Hart has performed a number of solo gigs in Melbourne, Sydney and Wollongong, where he delivered rare and intimate originals and covers.

Newcastle last had a taste of Hart when he performed at the Northern Star Hotel in May.
