WEST Wallsend's own annual version of the BIG DAY OUT is back this weekend.
MUSOFEST 2000, featuring some of the Hunter's best original rock'n'roll groups, is on at the Museum Hotel on Saturday, October 28, from midday until midnight.
BEYOND THE TREELINE, STRENGTH TO STRENGTH and LIQUAFACTION will headline the day-long celebration of Hunter talent. Strength To Strength was the winner of last year's Xpozay band competition, and is expected to release its debut CD shortly.
Beyond The Treeline will perform in next week's Xpozay grand final.
Liquafaction was a state finalist of the CAMPUS UNIVERSITY BAND COMPETITION this year, and has released an original CD.
Gift stalls will tempt crowds with unique jewellery, wine tasting, handmade clothing, paintings, woodwork, caneware, pottery, toys, books and videos.
Other artists confirmed to appear at the free day-long concert are PAUL MIBUS, NUTSHELL, JEFF SIDEY with ANNE MARIE & FRIENDS, LITTLE BIG MEN, GROOVE TRAIN, SLINK, DRAMA and WILDFLOWER. TE
