Hard Man On and Off Stage

Hard Man On and Off Stage

Who: Scar'Child, Equinibrium, Anakin
Where: Mayfield Hotel
When: Friday December 1, 2000

RHYTHM guitarist SEAN BROWN from Newcastle heavy rockers SCAR'CHILD can be a hard man to tie down on stage.

Equipped with a wireless pick-up, and an insatiable desire to pound out relentless waves of pulsating distortion, the six-string stuntman can be found off-stage more than on-stage at live gigs.

This Friday night at the Mayfield Hotel Brown and other members, PATRICK PROFILI on lead guitar, ANTHONY FRAMPTON on bass, MARK BRAMBLE on drums and DEAN 'DOC' ROLF on lead vocals, will perform at another popular OUT ON A LIMB gig, with fellow hard and heavy hombres EQUINIBRIUM and ANAKIN. Influenced by groups such as MACHINE HEAD, TOOL, AC/DC and DREAM THEATRE, Scar'child has satisfied Hunter heavy metal hordes while supporting SUPERHEIST, DREADNAUGHT, CRYOGENIC and HANGING TREE. Anakin recently released its debut CD ESREVERNI at SJ's Hotel, and has begun to build a following at Sydney with gigs at the Iron Horse Maroubra once a month.

Equinibrium has supported CRYOGENIC and SEGRESSION at The Palais Royale, and has released a CD WE UNDER THE SUN.
