Kasey's the New Face of Country

WHEN her debut album THE CAPTAIN was released in May last year, 23-year-old KASEY CHAMBERS had one thing in mind.

Changing people's perceptions about country music.

And those wanting to expand their musical horizons should head to Phoenix on April 9 to experience the voice of one of country music's favourite daughters for themselves.

CHAMBERS' album was so successful she received ARIA nominations for best female artist, alongside pop diva NATALIE IMBRUGLIA THE CAPTAIN has also received airplay on stations traditionally not oriented towards country music.

The first single Cry like a Baby and the album were number-one smash hits on the country charts.
