Who: Those Bloody McKenna's
Where: Northern Star Hotel
When: Friday March 17, 2000

THEY hail from the Dandenongs, east of Melbourne, and their debut CD was engineered and produced by JEN ANDERSON of WEDDINGS PARTIES ANYTHING and the ARIA-winning TWIN SET. The band is called THOSE BLOODY MCKENNAS (four of the band's members are brothers from a family of 11) and you can catch them in Newcastle for St Patrick's Day.

During the day the band, and its latest addition CLARE KILDEA from Sydney, will perform at the University of Newcastle, before heading along to the Northern Star Hotel that night.

The group performs its own original style of 'urban, acoustic, folk, pop rock' which should go down well on St Pat's Day while you're knocking the froth off the top of a pint of black gold.

PHIL DAME, DANE and ANT MCKENNA 'share their own hilarious family brand of interaction' on stage according to BEAT magazine. TE
