TEENY popsters LOKI thrilled 830 all-agers at the Newcastle Workers Club on Saturday, January 8, with the support of Newie bands ENERTIA, SUPERSONIC and CAROUSEL. As guests of Enertia and JAKE DENNY, the organiser of SOBRIETY III, radio chart toppers Loki performed its hits GET UP, NOT LIKE YOU and TALKING BACK to a capacity crowd.
Not satisfied with delivering a mind-blowing set of grunge lite, Loki returned to the stage to perform a cover version by a big-name American band, as part of an all-star jam with members of the Newie support acts.
If you can name the band and the tune, you're eligible to go in the draw for a signed copy of the group's CHYME CD.
