Launch at Fanny's

Who: Little Hornet
Where: Fanny's
When: Friday October 22, 1999

NEWCASTLE popsmiths LITTLE HORNET have been dubbed 'TAXIRIDE of the North' this month by Melbourne street music paper INPRESS. A review of the band's latest single ALONE on HUGE RECORDS through SHOCK was described as 'essentially a 60s rock tune dressed up with overtly muffled 90s distorted rock production'.

The backhanded compliment did not stop the critic from predicting the song will be 'catchy enough to score 'em mainstream radio play'.

Little Hornet will launch the new single on Friday night at Fanny's and Saturday night The Clubhouse Hotel in Maitland.

TE has five copies of ALONE to give away.

To go in the draw mail an envelope, with your name, address and telephone number on the back, to ALONE WITH LITTLE HORNET GIVEAWAY, PO Box 615, Newcastle, 2300.
