ARIA-winning Australian country music starlet KASEY CHAMBERS will join an impressive field of country performers this Sunday at Phoenix, to raise money to maintain the high standard of programming on community radio station 2NUR-FM. The COUNTRY SUMMER SUNDAY concert, which begins at 2pm, will feature CLINT BEATTIE, TAMIKA KELLEHEAR, KATE BALLANTYNE, STEVE GIBSON and BILL & AUDREY. Club Phoenix entertainment manager KRISTIN BONFANTE said her club showcased local and national modern country musicians in its 'Country Sunday' shows from 6.30pm every weekend.
At 6.30pm Chambers, who released her debut THE CAPTAIN in Newcastle in August, will perform with her band and guest performers.
The 22-year-old singer songwriter is planning to bring out an album with her family group THE DEAD RINGER BAND next year.
