The Life of Lee

Who: Lee Kernaghan
Where: Newcastle Panthers
When: Tuesday November 30, 1999

THE last time LEE KERNAGHAN came to Newcastle we sprung a surprise visit by the CHANNEL NINE cameras from THIS IS YOUR LIFE. This time around, on Tuesday, November 30, at Newcastle Workers Club, Kernaghan's last show of the year, he is bringing FIFTY MILLION BEERS with him to say thankyou.

Well not literally, but the band that travels by the name of Fifty Million Beers will be Kernaghan's support act.

It's all part of Kernaghan's OUTBACK CLUB PARTY, which has been touring for the past few months, and will play its final show for 1999 at Newcastle early next week.

At a recent show in Deniliquin, JOHN FARNHAM'S sound man JOHN HENDERSON remarked on the 5000-strong crowd, scenes of stage invasions and fainting fans, as something he'd never seen before.

'They are not only having a good time,' said Kernaghan.

'The energy out there has gone to a another level. This is incredible and rarely have I seen it.'

It was an incredibly successful year for Kernaghan, with an unprecedented five GOLDEN GUITAR awards in Tamworth, and being named as the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA Entertainer of the Year.

Lee Kernaghan has never been hotter. TE
