Following the Pathway to Success

DUBBO-born singer songwriter CAROL DONOVAN, will release her debut album ALONG THE PATHWAY, in time for September's MILDURA COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL in Victoria.

Playing this Friday night at the Aberdare Hotel, Cessnock, Donovan will next week support SUZI BENNETT at the Birmingham Gardens Bowling Club on Friday, May 28.

Donovan, who performs at the STEEL CITY COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION social night every Tuesday at Club Macquarie, has been writing the album for the past two years and is nearly finished recording.

The Lake Macquarie-based performer hopes to win the Mildura festival - which is Victoria's equivalent of the Tamworth country Music Festival - which is a qualifying event for the TOYOTA STARMAKER TALENT QUEST in Tamworth next year.

Donovan performs with accompaniment of her guitarist brother CHRIS DONOVAN.
