NEWCASTLE will get two tastes of some of Australia's hottest deejaying action this weekend with GROOVE TERMINATOR heading to Mercury Hotel on Friday night and DJ SHADE at JC's Bar on Saturday night.
Groove Terminator rocked the house at DOGBITE 99 with the beats and infectious grooves that he creates as a respected DJ/artist, producer, performer, mixer and remixer.
'GT' is acknowledged as the premier remixer in the country with credits including Australia's SAVAGE GARDEN and GRINSPOON. As a performing DJ he is recognised as a tastemaker, scoring supports for THE PRODIGY, JUNGLE BROS and DAFT PUNK. On Saturday night former Novocastrian DJ SHADE will begin his weekly residency upstairs at JC's Bar on Hunter, formerly the ZOOM BAR. Shade is versatile, playing hi-energy, hardhouse, trance and commercial dance music.
In the past few years Shade has performed at UTOPIA, LOVE NATION, COLLOSUS and DANCE NATION in Sydney where he was hailed by street press for his 'awe-inspiring set', 'flawless scratching' and 'high-precision beat mixing'. TE
