THE moving ballad ALL MY LIFE by Newcastle band QWAKE and its upbeat b-side A THOUSAND WORDS have slotted into the playlists of 106.9 NXFM quite comfortably. Last week the three-track CD returned to the number one spot on the SOUNDWORLD charts, buoyed by airplay and anticipation of Friday night's concert at the Newcastle Workers Club. The show's presenters, NXFM, have pledged $1 from every ticket sold to the all-ages concert will be donated to the KIDS HELPLINE. With live shows few and far between for Qwake, Friday night's show should be one of the most hotly anticipated of this year.
