THREE-times GOLDEN GUITAR winner ADAM BRAND scooped the pool at this year's country music awards at Tamworth for his song LAST MAN STANDING, which won Best Song and Best Video.

Booked to perform at Club Phoenix on Sunday, February 28, Brand was also awarded the Best New Talent award.

Brand is booked next month to play at the Newcastle Show and during April at Mayfield Ex-Services Club. His debut album GRANDPA'S PIANO has been described as a 'stomping piece of traditional country music with an instantly appealing and memorable chorus'.

The Perth-born singer guitarist, 27, is a familiar face to Novocastrians after featuring in television advertising campaigns for the Newcastle and Parramatta Speedways.
