CLUB Phoenix is offering a tempting one-price-includes-all New Year's Eve, with a dinner and show, a huge balloon drop at midnight, and 24-hour licence to kick on until dawn.
Tickets were selling strongly for the PARTY INTO THE FUTURE featuring the fabulous TRIBUTES cabaret and rock'n'roll revue, at $60 and $45 for members.
Lead singer RICHARD BOYLE said the band's new year's resolution was 'to build the cabaret show to end all cabaret shows.'
New characters next year will include QUEEN and RIKI MARTIN. The revamp includes an overhaul of existing characters including ABBA 'more campish and vampish' and TOM JONES 'reloaded'.
Friday night will also be the final show for drummer GEORGE GEORGIEV and bass player KEVIN WHYATT. The Tributes rhythm section will be replaced next year by drummer PETER HOOLIHAN and temporarily by QWAKE bass player MITCH CAIRNS. Guitarist TONY CAMPS will remain.TE
