FAR from being a garage band, Australian rock stalwarts MENTAL AS ANYTHING has decided to celebrate its 21st anniversary together with a new CD called GARAGE. The release coincides with a tour on the BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN TOUR, which revives the greats of Aussie rock from the 1970s and 1980s.

Rolling into Newcastle Workers Club on Friday, September 18, The Mentals will be joined by Ska greats THE ALLNITERS, who will also be performing the night before at the University of Newcastle with THE PORKERS. Other bands on the bill are GANGgajang, SPY VS SPY, SWANEE, MACHINATIONS and THE COCKROACHES. TE has two double passes to give away.
