SOUTHERN Californian punk band GUTTERMOUTH will display its prowess at driving (swiftly) on the left side of the road this Sunday, when the group hightails it up the Pacific Highway towards Newcastle after a gig at Lake Macquarie.
The band will perform an all-ages show at Swansea Workers Club, which begins at 4pm and finishes at 7pm, before hitting the frog-and-toad for an over-18s gig at the New Cambridge Hotel at 8pm.
Supporting the group will be JASON DONOVAN ENEMA EXPLOSION and DOG BUOY. Guttermouth rode the coat tails of the kiddy-punk revival in the early 1990s when their mate DEXTER HOLLAND, lead singer from THE OFFSPRING, launched his own record label NITRO RECORDS. The profile of The Offspring, and the fact that Guttermouth was the first band on the label, helped the band take off in the US.
