Newcastle Workers Turns on Six of Best Originals

SIX of Newcastle's most promising original bands will be showcased at the Newcastle Workers Club on Saturday, November 28.

One of those groups is DANK which aims to be recognised for its original 'punchy rock' peppered with 'heavy hard riffs'.

The group (from left) is bass player BEN SIMPSON, guitarist CRAIG SPARKS, guitarist and vocalist SCOTT BROGDEN and drummer SHANE MCGILVRAY. Other bands on the bill are LICORICE, MENAGERIE, RED BESSIE, PROSPECT and TWIN PSYCHE. Tickets are $3. TE
