AFTER a CD launch at the Cambridge Hotel earlier this month, rising Newcastle rock band Murmur is set to take its music on the road.
Murmur, comprising Daniel Honan (guitars/vocals), Ryan Martin (bass) and Jono Sharples (drums), will perform in Wollongong next week before taking on Sydney crowds soon after.
The trio is gearing up for the show which it anticipates will be the biggest gig of its career when it plays the transit lounge at The Metro Theatre in Sydney on February 17 alongside Taunicate, Meniscus, Pink Stik, Ever Inside and The Locus Scene. ``This will be by far the biggest show we've played yet and it's sure to be a massive night of music,'' Honan said.
Murmur will perform songs from the new CD. which was produced by local lad Chris Jahnsen. Entry to The Metro gig costs $12 at the door.
