LAST year Sydney punk rockers The Hard-Ons commemorated 21 years together with a successful run of shows.
Having just toured Europe, the trio still shows no signs of slowing down.
Earlier this month The Hard-Ons took up a weekly residency at the Excelsior Hotel in Surry Hills.
On Friday night they will return to Newcastle for a one-off show to mark the opening of Club Chaos at the Lucky Country Hotel. The Hard-Ons have carved a notch in the world of punk rock and have assembled a cult following along the way, including the likes of Henry Rollins, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mike Davis from MC5. The Hard-Ons are also regarded as one of Australia's most successful independent bands with more than 250,000 records sold worldwide and 17 consecutive number-one hits on the alternative charts.
Supporting The Hard-Ons on Friday night will be Bad Disguise, The Trophy Wives, Conation, No Quarter, Chaos 69 and Unemployed Supervillians. Tickets cost $20 and are on sale now at the hotel.
