Looking Back At Punk's Golden Age

Who: Pucko
Where: Lucky Country Hotel
When: Wednesday January 25, 2006

RETRO: Pucko, at the Lucky Country Hotel tonight, with plenty of Joy Division, Clash, Birthday Party, Specials, Ramones, The Cure, Fad Gadget and Killing Joke. IF you love all things retro then check out Retrovision at the Lucky Country Hotel tonight.

Retrovision is a new residency held by DJ Pucko who has recently taken up a weekly gig at the pub.

Pucko reckons Retrovision caters for anyone who wants to revisit the alternative sounds of the early punk and new-wave era or wants to know what it was all about.

``Feel free to make requests from the Retrovision song list but don't expect to find any Madonna or ABBA,'' Pucko warned.

``What you will find is plenty of Joy Division, Clash, Birthday Party, Specials, Ramones, The Cure, Fad Gadget, Killing Joke and many others from the 1976 to '86 golden age of music creation.'' Pucko hits the decks at 9pm and keeps the tunes flowing until 1am. Entry is free.
