Top Talent For Festival

Where: Maitland Showground
When: Saturday April 29, 2006

OUTDOOR music festival Groovin' the Moo returns in April and will bring a stellar line-up of Australian talent to the Hunter.

Among the acts confirmed to perform are hip-hop groups Hilltop Hoods and The Herd and rockers Shihad and End of Fashion. Bands will perform across two stages.

This year's is the third regional Groovin' the Moo festival and moves to a new venue when it appears at Maitland Showground on April 29.

Organiser Rod Little said he thinks the line-up is the best yet.

``I feel music lovers of the Hunter and the surrounding areas will really be excited by the quality and diversity of this line-up,'' he said.

``I hope it helps to lay the foundations for national and international acts to play on the stage at Groovin' The Moo in years to come.'' In keeping with the same atmosphere created a year ago in Gloucester, it will be a festival encompassing not only live music but side shows, rides, food and market stalls as well as a bar.
