NEWCASTLE Live Sites' first instalment of its latest concert series, Loud, will begin at Honeysuckle Workshops this weekend.
Presenting a combination of cabaret, comedy and music every weekend through to late October, Loud will bring together international and national cabaret acts, touring bands and comedians.
Opening the event on Saturday night is the eclectic Waiting For Guinness, who have won a legion of fans in and around Sydney with their style of gypsy punk, folk, jazz, Berlin cabaret and everything in between.
The Sawtooth Bar will be open at each event and there will also be food available on the night.
Newcastle Live Sites is bringing a broad range of talent to Honeysuckle Workshops in the coming weeks, including performances from Coda, Steve Abbott, King Tide and The Stiff Gins. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketek on 4929 1977 or at the door on the night from 7pm.
