Australian-born Gerace has been performing his own tribute to The King across the country for the past seven years. and regularly plays to sell-out audiences. His show continues to excite with its collection of Presley classics and Gospel numbers. It moves through the different stages of Presley's career, covering the Sun Studio recordings and the RCA era through to his time in film and performing in Las Vegas.
Once of the most popular segments of the show is the sit-down session from the '68 Comeback Special with Gerace and three of his musicians jamming on stage. Since he first took his show to the stage, Gerace has had the chance to rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in the business and play many memorable gigs. One of the most memorable came i In November 2003 Gerace and his 13-piece backing band played a show in Hong Kong supporting the Rolling Stones. More recently Gerace has taken his show further afield by performing his In The Spirit of Elvis production in Las Vegas at the Stardust Casino. There he had the chance to perform alongside the Jordanaires, a 1950s and '60s male quartet that backed Presley in his earlier years.
It is not the first time Gerace has had the chance to play with some of Presley's former associates.
In December, 2003, Gerace invited the members of Presley's original band The TCB Band to join him on stage for performances in Sydney and Melbourne.
