HAVING reached a national audience through their exposure on Channel Ten's X Factor , the barefoot vocal group Kaya is bringing their talents to Newcastle.
The group, which finished fourth in the reality TV series, is comprised of four female vocalists who blend their influences of jazz, soul, blues, gospel, folk and pop to create original music.
The group will perform at Club G at the Gateway Hotel on Saturday. November 12 They won the hearts of the X Factor audience by challenging the reality TV format by performing original songs throughout the competition, maintaining their individual sound and style.
Since being voted off the show the Sydney-based group was required to stick to their tight post-show contract.
They were not allowed to perform publicly or do any promotional work until three months after their appearance on the TV show.
Tickets to the Kaya show will cost you $10 and can be bought at the venue.
