NEWCASTLE Live Sites presentation of Saturday Arvo Grooves was a huge hit last year.
Crowds gathered in Newcastle Mall to enjoy free music ranging from rockabilly to gypsy.
The camel rides on offer were also a big hit.
Saturday Arvo Grooves returns this year and will kick off in Newcastle Mall on Saturday, June 4, and continue every Saturday throughout June and July.
Sticking with the same set-up as last year, punters can expect more of the same creature comforts, with plenty of heating, tables and chairs on site.
Zany host Maynard will present Mad in the Mall during Saturday Arvo Grooves, joined by guest street performers, comedians and cabaret acts.
Throughout July there will be sets from the Hunter's best live acts with The Hauntingly Beautiful Mousemoon performing at the first show on Saturday, July 2.
Other acts confirmed to appear, in order, include Poland, Bucksaloono and the Sisters of If, Le Minibus and Morpeth Jug Busters. Stay tuned for the return of WinterHeat 05 as Newcastle Live Sites transform Newcastle into an outdoor cathedral on bonfire night.
The city will be adorned with candles, lanterns, burning sculptures and fire shows. All events are free.
