DON'T miss one of Australia's greatest vocalists in action when Daryl Braithwaite performs two shows in the region this weekend.
Touring on the back of his long-awaited new album Snapshot , Braithwaite will perform at Toronto District Workers Club on Friday night and Cessnock Ex- Services Club on Saturday night.
Braithwaite began what will be his most extensive tour of the decade in March, working his way around the country over a period of seven months with his band which comprises David Campbell (acoustic guitar, vocals), John Corniola (drums) and Geoff Wells (electric guitar, vocals).
Fans will not only hear songs taken from Snapshot but also tunes from his extensive back catalogue covering his days as a soloist through to his early work with top-selling Aussie band Sherbert. Braithwaite's previous hits include The Horses, As the Days Go By, All I Do, One Summer and the Sherbert classics Howzat and You've Got The Gun. Both shows start at 8pm and tickets cost $25 per person and are available at the venues.
