RGB Trio looks set for a busy year.
Formed last year from the ashes of Bluemoon, the band comprises keyboard player and vocalist Robert Parkes, lead guitarist and vocalist Gary Elliott and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Barry Hill. Each member boasts more than 20 years musical experience playing in well-known Newcastle bands.
Parkes said the three formed the group with the aim of providing a great night of entertainment and dancing, playing music from the '50s to today's latest chart hits.
They play Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Robbie Willliams, Dragon and Paul Kelly.
``We have spent the last 12 months of hard work re-learning our set lists in a trio format and are now pleased to announce a busy schedule in the next six months already,'' Parkes said.
Catch them at Windale-Gateshead Bowling Club on Friday, Kurri Kurri Workers Club on Saturday, Stockton RSL Club on March 12 and Maitland Leagues Club on Friday, April 1.
