Take Foreshore Detour

A HOST of television presenters, musicians and professional skaters will arrive in Newcastle next month as part of the CHANNEL [V] BILLABONG DETOUR. NEWCASTLE FORESHORE PARK will host the event on Friday, March 18, with special guest performances by GUY SEBASTIAN, TAMMIN SURSOK and CRISTIAN ALEXANDA. A host of top Australian and international skaters will take part, including as well including JON LORCAN, JACKSON PILZ, JOHN DICKENSON, RUSSELL GRUNDY, ALI CAIRNS, FABIAN GOSIN, BUCKY LASEK and JEREME ROGERS. And best of all, the whole event is free.

A search entitled Aussie Friggin Hip Hop will shine the spotlight on regional MCs as Detour hosts heats for aspiring rappers, freestylers and MCs.

Winners from each state will be flown to Sydney for the grand final in April.

They'll battle it out for the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles to have a single produced by hip hop maestro KUTMASTA KURT. See www.channelv.com.au for more information.
