DON your highest platform boots and dust off your spandex suit because one of Australia's top ABBA tribute shows is on its way to Toronto.

Sydney-based tribute band ABBALANCHE will perform at TORONTO DISTRICT WORKERS CLUB on Saturday, March 5.

Abbalanche provide an entertaining ride through the hits that the world has come to know so well and, with plenty of audience participation, it creates the quintessential ABBA sound live.

Since formation, the band has earned a reputation as one of Australia's best ABBA tribute bands with a bevy of MO and ACE awards nominations to its credit.

The group comprises PETER WATTERS as Bjorn, LESLEY WATTERS as Frida, JENNI TAYLOR as Agnetha and BOB WHEATLEY as Benny and has the backing of bassist JOHN JURKOVIC and drummer DIMITRI KANIKEVICH. With ABBA still so popular, Abbalanche is a timely celebration of the band's dazzling costumes, singalong ballads and dance-floor hits.

ABBA fans won't leave the show disappointed, with Abbalanche delivering a whole stack of the band's unforgettable hits including Mamma Mia, Fernando and Dancing Queen. Tickets cost $12 and are on sale at the venue.
