Groovin' Time For Evermore

What: Groovin' The Moo
Where: Gloucester Showground
When: Sunday April 24, 2005

THE capital cities have the BIG DAY OUT , Sydney has HOMEBAKE and Byron Bay has SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS. Now the NSW Mid-North Coast has an event it can call its own.

The inaugural GROOVIN' THE MOO rock concert will be staged at GLOUCESTER SHOWGROUND on Sunday, April 24, during the Anzac Day long weekend.

The outdoor festival will present a variety of food, artists' merchandise, fresh country air, a great atmosphere and good music to be enjoyed by all.

Groovin' the Moo will be an all-ages concert.

The line-up includes THE SCREAMING JETS, KILLING HEIDI, EVERMORE, THE SPAZZYS, SENDER, SUPERSONIC, RETRO ROCKETS, SOLVER, DIRTY PINK JEANS, THE COMMON CODE and THE SAGE. The event came about because regional areas wanted was derived from a continual expression in regional areas a musical event of the calibre of well- established annual festivals like those already well established and held around the country annually such as the Big Day Out, Homebake and Splendour in the Grass, festivals that country people can have difficulty getting to.

that can be difficult for people in regional areas to access. Groovin' the Moo aims to meet this growing need and organisers hope the event in Gloucester will be a blueprint for a series of similar events to be held across regional NSW in the future.

Tickets for Groovin' the Moo are $66 (plus booking fee) and are available online at groovinthemoo.com or from The Drum Shop, Newcastle; Sonjai Boutique, Round-a-bout Inn and Avon Valley Inn, Gloucester; and Saltwater Wine Surf Centres, Taree, Forster and Port Macquarie .
