RACHEL Saint Clair set out to form a different covers band three years ago.
Her vision was to create a band with ``raw rhythms of hard- edged acoustics'' through to a contemporary and unique fusion-based sound.
That vision became 20 Four Seven.
Saint Clair said the band could play Top-40 cover songs along with the best from the '70s, '80s and '90s.
The energy and sound is produced by a four-piece band and she said their sound was fast becoming a trademark of the band and crowds love it.
Saint Clair said she had worked with some of the finest names in the country as well as singing backing vocals for some international artists.
The band was the winner of the 2001 Coca-Cola Rock Quest.
Band members between them have worked with artists including Jimmy Barnes, The Screaming Jets, Lotel, Troy Cassar-Daley and Keith Urban.
20 Four Seven will play at the Belmont 16ft Sailing Club on Saturday
