LESS than a year after forming, The Common Code is already accepting offers to play large-scale events.
The four-piece will make its first festival appearance when it performs during Groovin' the Moo at Gloucester Showground on Sunday, April 24.
The Common Code will share the stage with the likes of the Screaming Jets, Killing Heidi, The Spazzys and Evermore during the inaugural music festival.
Things have been going from strength to strength for the band since it played its first show late last year.
It has played to large crowds around Newcastle in both acoustic and full-blown rock shows, delivering passionate and energetic performances.
Last week the band played its first headline show at the Northern Star Hotel and attracted more than 100 punters through the door.
A gig at the Cambridge Hotel on Saturday night supporting Angela's Dish and Draw the Line will act as a warm-up before the forthcoming festival.
Tickets to Groovin' the Moo are on sale now and available in Newcastle at The Drum Shop and Sound World or online at the website www.groovinthemoo.com
