FOLLOWING the teaser made earlier this month, Splendour in the Grass organisers have announced the second round of acts to perform at this year's event.
Joining the ranks will be UK outfit Mercury Rev, US alt rocker Ryan Adams, folk singer Willy Mason and the Finn Brothers. Other acts on the bill are Beautiful Girls, Scribe, The Living End, Decoder Ring, Butterfingers, After the Fall and The Grates. They join Bloc Party, Queens of the Stone Age, Moby, Sarah Blasko, Interpol and Shihad when Splendour in the Grass returns to Belongil Fields at Byron Bay from Saturday, July 23 - Sunday, July 24.
More acts are set to be announced in the lead-up to the event.
Since it made its debut in 2001, Splendour in the Grass has grown to attract high profile acts such as Coldplay and PJ Harvey. Each year it has sold out well in advance so punters are encouraged to book tickets straight away when they go on sale Monday, May 9.
