FINE wine, good food and top tunes is what has made JAZZ IN THE VINES a success.
Now in its 12th year, Jazz in the Vines returns to TYRRELLS VINEYARD this weekend with a stellar array of entertainment, including live bands and, for the first time, DJs.
Appearing this year will be JAMES MORRISON who will share the stage with his band THE EDGE.
Other acts will include GEOFF BULL'S OLYMPIA JAZZ BAND, THE ELANA STONE QUINTET, CAROL RALPH and FISH FRY along with DJs BOOGIE and D*STEADY. Some of the Hunter's finest restaurants will serve up top cuisine while wineries, including Tyrrells, Draytons, Terrace Vale and Tamburlaine, will offer wine tasting.
Jazz In the Vines promoter and event manager GRANT SMITH said he believed this mix of ingredients was what continued to attract thousand of people each year.
``The relaxed casual atmosphere of Jazz in the Vines, the fantastic variety of food and wines from all around the Hunter and jazz to suit all tastes makes this event what it is,'' Smith said.
