A NEW three-day festival will make its debut in the beautiful GLENWORTH VALLEY this week.

THE PEATS RIDGE SUSTAINABLE ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL will be held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

These will encompass a wide variety of musical genres, including world music, blues, roots, dub, contemporary music and chilled beats.

Acts will include MONSIEUR CAMEMBERT, KING TIDE, MICK HART, TRACKY DAX, FOURPLAY, ARABESQUE, FIREHOUSE SOUND SYSTEM, CHARLIE McMAHON AND RADICAL SON, ABBY DOBSON, JEFF DREAD, SARITAH, ROBIN KNIGHT, PAUL GREENE, JIVE KAYANA, wGRAHAM MANDROULES and PONY CLUB MASSACRE. There will also be markets and food stalls, children's workshops and other activities, plus a children's minding centre so parents can enjoy a bit of free time.

All profits from the festival will go towards funding education projects in sustainable food production for developing countries.
