AUSTRALIA'S finest blues and roots artists will come together under one roof this weekend during BLUES CENTRAL 2004. Regarded as one of the Central Coast's premier music events, it will roll into DAVISTOWN RSL CLUB on Saturday.
Blues Central 2004 features seven of the country's best blues and roots acts showcasing a variety of styles.
Punters can expect to hear everything from the harmonica- and dobro- driven sounds of the delta to hard-edged Chicago swing and Texas boogie with a little acoustic country on the side.
In what has been described as exceptional value for the entertainment dollar, the line-up includes JAN RYNSAARDT, MICK HART, RAY BEADLE AND DARREN JACK, THE FLOOD, EX-PATS (featuring former CANNED HEAT frontman JAMES T), DIRTY LUCY and CHRIS WILSON AND THE SPIDERMEN. Tickets cost $30 each and will be available at the door from 1pm. Children under 15 are free.
