A BLEND of three-part harmonies and a soulful repertoire has gone into making GEN-R8 one of Newcastle's finest vocal acts.
The trio comprises the talents of YIANNI MORITIDAS, PEDRO VIRGIL and GEORGE MORITIDAS .
Each member brings a style and strength that complements the other and provide punters with something a little d ferent to the usual duo or trio.
People may remember Moritidas and Virgil from the work in popular vocal outfit THREE 27 who recently toured the UK and released the single Trust In Me.
The pair has taken its soulful style and combined it with the talent of Moritidas, who previously worked in the Latino trio SMOOTH.
Since it formed last year, Gen-R8 has perfected its sound with regular performances around the club and pub scene in Sydney and Newcastle.
The trio delivers a repertoire of classic soul and R&B tunes from artists such as STEVIE WONDER.
