Johns and Mac at it Again

SILVERCHAIR frontman DANIEL JOHNS and electronic wizard PAUL MAC have teamed up once again under the moniker THE DISSOCIATIVES. The pair first teamed up in 1997 when Mac remixed Silverchair's song Freak , before meeting again to record the EP I Can't Believe It's Not Rock. Johns and Mac teamed up again last year as The Dissociatives and spent about two months together writing and recording in London, Sydney and Newcastle.

The Dissociatives' first offering is the single Somewhere Down The Barrel, which was already one of the five most played tracks on Australian radio before its commercial release on March 8.

It features exclusive versions of two other new songs titled Thinking In Reverse and Goodnight.

The single will be followed by the Australian release of a self- titled, self-produced album due next month.

The Dissociatives are also planning to bring some like- minded musicians on board for a series of Australian tour dates to be announced on April 4.
