ROOTS artist JOHN BUTLER has experienced a creativity overload.
Following the recent success of his new gold-selling live album ifLiving, Butler says that he already has enough material to record another two albums.
``Before I took some time off late last year, I had two albums' worth of original songs ready to be recorded,'' Butler said.
``While I was off, I've been writing about one song a week.
Maybe I'll have to release an album a year.
'' This would come as welcome news to fans who have shown their support by snapping up the majority of tickets to his forthcoming tour.
Butler kicks off the POST NATAL EXPRESSION TOUR in July but has already been forced to add extra dates following huge demand.
Novocastrians have also shown their support by snapping up tickets to his show at CIVIC THEATRE NEWCASTLE on August 13.
The Californian-born and Australian-based artist recently welcomed a daughter, Bango, and completed a tour of the UK, which included a gig at the ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL alongside IGGY POP and PAUL WELLER.
Next he'll head for the US.
