MAGIC DIRT will showcase material from its forthcoming album when it per forms at the SYDNEY JUNCTION HOTEL on Friday night.

The band has spent much of 2003 at Mel bourne's BIRDLAND STUDIOS working on the follow up to its fourth album ifWhat Are Rock Stars Doing Today.

Titled ifTough Love, the 13-track album was mixed in the US by Adam Kasper, whose credits include QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and NI RVANA.

Doors open at 8.

30pm and pre-sale tickets are $15 or $17 on the door.

Tough Love will be released August 18.
