IF you've ever been to SOUNDS ON SUNDAY at Sydney's GREENWOOD HOTEL , it's likely that you've come across DJ SHAMUS .
Shamus began his DJ career just four years ago but has already become a veteran of the popular weekly event.
He made his debut at Sounds on Sunday a fortnight after it opened and he has barely missed a show since.
``I have played there just about every week for four years apart from probably eight or nine days,'' Shamus said.
``Otherwise, I've played every week.
I never get sick of it.
``I actually I feel quite strange if I don't do it .

like something is missing out of my weekend.
'' Shamus also holds the residencies EAR CANDY and AFTER HOURS at city nightclub YU .
His mix of deep funky house mixed with disco and breaks has won him enough respect to place him on the bill alongside the likes of FATBOY SLIM and FELIX DA HOUSECAT.
He has released two mix CDs ifAlfresco Soiree and ifChalet Soiree and has recently taken the plunge into remixing.
``I'm doing my first remix at the moment of a French house song called ifBehind by LAQUER which will be released next month.
'' Shamus will headline BOOMPTY BOOMPY at STAR NEWCASTLE on Saturday from 10pm alongside AUXILARY, KATO, PATSAN, BRETT OK, CHRISTIAN PURE and G.
