AUSTRALIAN Idol finalist DANIEL WAKEFIELD is part of the great line-up featured in a THE HERALD CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT at KING EDWARD PARK on Friday, December 19 at 7pm.
Presented by THE HERALD in association with KOFM and DOMAYNE, the entertainment includes THE MILTON WARD ORCHESTRA, SHANDELL MANSON, DAVID SANDERS, THE BAILEYS, EMMA LOUISE PRATT, HUNTER SINGERS and RONALD MCDONALD , with a special guest visit from SANTA.

Australian Idol star Daniel Wakefield began his singing career in 1998 while auditioning for a school musical and soon after appeared in the widely acclaimed Cole Porter Story at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Sydney.
He then progressed to the cabaret scene and quickly established himself as one of the hottest new talents in town.
He has recently won the A.C.E. AWARDS (Australian Club Entertainers) for the Best New Act in Australia, was a MO AWARD finalist in 2002-03 and released his second CD titled Faith in Me in November.
Also an actor, he has appeared on screen in Home and Away and the US movie Blabbermouths staring the Olsen Twins.
With the record ratings enjoyed by Australian Idol he is sure to be a popular guest star at Carols By Candlelight.
Candles will be on sale on the night.
There will be extra entertainment, with balloon sculpturing and face painting.
